Lighting accounts for 18% of a typical household’s electricity bill, meaning can save money on your energy bills simply by changing the type of lighting you use.
Lighting emitting diode (LED) lights will save you about £30 a year on your energy bills. Not only will LED lights save you money on your energy bills, they also last 10x longer than traditional lights, so you will spend less replacing bulbs with less maintenance.
